The times we live in are unprecedented but we know that the Church of Jesus has overcome through other difficult periods of time.  In our desire to remain faithful and hopeful, we commit to being a local church that is focused on Jesus.  We do not want to look back at the way things were, but rather at the way things will be.  We are a church that is dedicated to pressing on.
Hosea 6:3 tells us:
“Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is sure as the dawn;
He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
This statement affirms the sure and steadfast presence, power and love of the Living God who invites us into fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ.
Thus the Apostle Paul can write to the church in Philippi:
“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 3:14)
Together these verses are the foundation for our vision to “Press on and be the Church” or as our motto says,
“Keep Calm and Church On.”

In the Book of Acts, Paul and Barnabas demonstrated two foundational acts in the life of the Church, namely proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to ALL and ministering through the love and unity found only in Jesus Christ.  Therefore, in order to achieve our vision to “Keep Calm and Church On,” we will follow in the footsteps of the Apostles by purposefully proclaiming the Good News to ALL and ministering to others through His Love.
